A great basic sluice to keep in the car or truck for checking that unexpected spot. Take it along for the weekend camping trip. The sluice is 24" x 8"x 3" sides. Sluice boxes are used to process more material than just a gold pan alone. The sluice box will concentrate the material by letting the light dirt or material wash away, while trapping the gold and heavier material with the riffles. After sluicing you pick out the big pieces and pan out the rest to recover the fine gold.
